Discussing European

Dilemmas in a Global Context

in the Classroom

Location: The Hague, Netherlands. The city of peace and justice Date: 23-29 October 2016. Organisers: AEDE-Nederland & Interprimair Europe Course Language: English (Dutch) Objectives of training content: “Discussing   European Dilemma’s in a global context in the classroom.”  Because being a European Citizen asks for more than learning the facts. Or how to coach students to develop skills and attitudes to participate in a globalized world.

Formal & Informal

This training is intended for formal and informal education for teachers, teacher trainers and future teachers of secondary education. The course aims to bring together  around 20 teachers, teacher trainers and  future teachers of all countries of Europe in  an active and inspiring meeting of seven days, filled with discussions, debates, workshops, on-site study visits to European and international institutions, schools and includes a social- cultural program to allow colleagues to meet each other in a warm and welcome setting. Participants will be asked to confirm their participation and fulfill the fee for the course at the latest six weeks prior to the start of the course.
The organizers will not arrange accommodation during the conference, but attractive deals for key accommodations will be provided.

Course Fee

The   course fee for 7 days is 515 euro (including 25 euro administration costs) in total per person. Included are: lesson materials,lectures and excursions. Travel costs, housing and meals are not included. For teachers in the Netherlands it is also possible to attend the conference on a daily basis.Please, contact the course organizers to find out about the daily fees.
